Arcadia’s College of Health Sciences houses the University’s Genetic CounselingHealth EducationPhysician AssistantPublic Health, and Physical Therapy programs.

Through evidence-based practice and project-based learning, these programs prepare health care professionals for success in a rapidly changing global environment, with applied and pro bono clinical thesis work, clinical rotations, international fieldwork, and multicultural assessment. The College also facilitates collaborative research and service-learning experiences locally and internationally. Graduates of our programs are at the forefront of their respective fields and employed with leading health organizations. 

Courses

    Each semester consists of four courses (Examination, Intervention, Biomedical Sciences and Physical Therapy Integrative Care and Practice) that become more complex as students advance through the program. The courses are integrated around case presentations (units) that last for two to three weeks. Each unit provides an example of one or more of the Practice Patterns defined by the Guide to Physical Therapist Practice of the American Physical Therapy Association.
