About the Minor


The Criminology & Criminal Justice minor equips students with the tools to critically examine how crime, justice, and punishment operate in society. Through coursework rooted in theory and research, students explore the structures, power dynamics, and social forces that shape the criminal justice system. Paired with any major, this minor sharpens analytical thinking and ethical reasoning—preparing students to challenge assumptions, pursue justice-oriented careers, or take the next step toward graduate or professional training in the field.
