SO 207 Social Work and Social Advocacy

(4 Credits)
This overview of the social welfare system in this country includes its historical development. Understanding and evaluating social welfare programs such as family and children’s services, healthcare, community mental health, and working with the aging are the goals. The course includes visits to selected community agencies.
