FA 251 Graphic Design II (Interactive Design) (4 Credits) This course introduces the essential skills required to design compelling screen-based experiences for websites or apps. Those enrolled will learn current best practices and conventions in both user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design to assure fluency with the user research, wireframing, prototyping, and validation techniques. UI and UX design are a high-demand field, but the skills and knowledge you will learn in this course are applicable to a wide variety of careers, from marketing to web design to programming. Software and tools include Sketch, Figma, and InVision while continuing use of the programs within the Adobe CC. Six studio hours weekly and independent work.
Prerequisite: FA 206 , FA 250 and FA 270 or permission of instructor.
