BA 471 Internship in International Business and Culture The international internship course is for students majoring in international business and culture. It is completed as part of study abroad or in an international organization that is based in the United States. The internship experience is designed to allow the student to complete 80 hours of out-of-class work experience. The full-time student has the following options.
- Traditional: In consultation with the employer and the instructor, the student identifies an internship site and undertakes a project in an area of business administration.
- Administrative Rotation: The student shadows professionals in a business setting, observing and experiencing the interaction of people and tasks within the organization.
- Personal Business Plan: The student researches an industry and creates a business plan for an entrepreneurial venture of his or her own choosing in consultation with one or more mentors.
Prerequisite: BA 260 , BA 344 , BA 380 ; senior standing in the School of Global Business or permission of the School of Global Business Dean.
