BA 329B Business Entity Taxation


(2 Credits)
The course will provide a comprehensive examination of taxation as it relates to the various forms of business entities (C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies) and their owners. The primary objective of this module is to provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of federal taxation with regards to the various business entity forms, including “C” and “S” Corporations, and Limited Liability Companies and Partnerships. The focus will be on tax compliance and planning considerations as it relates to the respective entities and their owners.

Prerequisite: BA 201   and BA 326   OR BA 329A   (required); BA 230   or BA 232   (suggested)
