Accreditation


Arcadia University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Arcadia’s School of Education is approved for teacher education by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, New Jersey, New York, and other states (through reciprocity agreements).

The National Association of Schools of Art and Design accredits all Arcadia University art programs.

The American Medical Association approves Arcadia University for pre-professional education in medicine and allied health fields.

The Department of Chemistry is approved by the American Chemical Society.

The Doctorate in Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.

The M.A. in Counseling program is accredited by the Masters in Psychology and Counseling Accreditation Council, and qualifies students to sit for the National Counselor’s Examination (NCE) and/or licensure in Pennsylvania.

The Forensic Science Program is accredited by the Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission.

The Physician Assistant Program is accredited by ARC-PA.

The Master’s Degree and State Certification in Literacy coursework, as well as PreK-4 degrees are accredited by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA).

The Master’s of Business Administration is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

The Public Health Program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).

Students who complete the Master of Public Health are eligible to sit for the National Certifying Exam for Health Education Specialists (CHES).
