SPM 470 Internship

(4 Credits)
The internship course is considered to be one of the most critical components of the Sport Management Major. Students will undertake a 10-15 week (minimum of 100 hours total), full-time supervised internship. This course is expected to enhance the students’ academic experiences via a required industry analysis, weekly logs and a portfolio, and provide networking opportunities and additional field experience. Before registering for this course, students must consult with the course instructor to discuss securing an internship position.

Prerequisite: SPM 261, SPM 270, and SPM 370
