Business Administration, M.B.A.

Arcadia University offers an M.B.A. program in a fully online format. Students take one course at a time, in an accelerated eight-week course period, a model that is particularly valued by working professionals. With a fully asynchronous mode of delivery, students have the flexibility to pursue each course at their own pace during the week.

The MBA program consists of a business core and students must choose one of the three concentrations as a specialization. Concentrations are offered in – Healthcare Finance, Financial Analysis and Organizational Leadership.

The 30 credit MBA program can normally be completed in a 19-to-22-month period.

Arcadia’s M.B.A. enables students to:

  • Analyze emerging global trends affecting business today.

  • Develop expertise within a specialized area of business through a concentration

  • Enhance skills associated with data gathering, analysis and evaluation to design and implement more effective strategic plans.

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and multi-disciplinary problem solving

  • PBH 510 Health Care Systems and Public Health Policy: An Integrated Approach to Population Health (3 credits)

 

Financial Analysis Concentration

  • BA 580 Shareholder Value Management (3 credits)

  • BA 680 International Finance (3 credits)

  • BA 681 Securities Analysis (3 credits)

  • BA 682 Mergers and Acquisitions (3 credits)

  • BA 683 Investment Banking (3 credits)

 

Organizational Leadership Concentration

***Students pursing (or graduating) from the College of Health Sciences’ Healthcare Management & Leadership certificate will be able to transfer all of their credits from the certificate towards an MBA in Healthcare Finance OR MBA in Healthcare Leadership. Graduates of this certificate intending to complete an MBA should contact the MBA director to determine the Curriculum pathway to secure an MBA degree.
