FA 200 Painting I

Introduction to the inherent qualities of the medium. The course examines the formal qualities of color, light, space, form, composition and point of view, and the role they play in expressive intent. The course emphasizes developing perceptual vision. Six hours weekly and independent work. Prerequisite for Art and Design majors: FA103 or FA104. No prerequisite for non-art majors.
