BA 562 Human Resources Management


(3 credits)
This course focuses on human resources management (HRM) strategies, approaches, and practices utilized to enhance organizational value through human capital. The course examines HRM trends and policies within both global and domestic work environments. Topics include: human resource strategic planning; recruitment/selection; training/development; employee relations; performance management; compensation/benefits; expatriates; cultural diversity; and workplace equality. The course addresses best practices for integrating justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) through HRM practices to create sustainable, high performing organizations.


Prerequisite: None. Students should be matriculated into the MBA or Graduate Certificate Program.
