FS 270 Criminal Law and Ethics

For seniors only, FS570 may be taken at the discretion of the MSFS program director

Criminal Law and Ethics explores ethics in policing, criminal prosecution, and forensic investigations; the philosophy of punishment and sentencing; and other topics. Using moral philosophy and professional ethics lenses, students will debate topics such as mass incarceration, policing, the death penalty, and the use and misuse of scientific and technical information in court cases.
