PT 734 Scientific Writing and Reporting

(3 credits)
Scientific writing and reporting prepares students to write effectively for grant proposals and peer-reviewed journals and prepare and implement scientific presentations at professional meetings. This course focuses on the principles of good writing, formatting and language of scientific manuscripts, tricks for writing efficiently and with less anxiety, and the ins and outs of peer review and publication.

Prerequisite: Students must be enrolled in the Movement Science doctoral program or receive written permission from the course instructor and director of the Movement Science doctoral program.
