Chemistry, Minor

Directed toward students in Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering, who wish to develop a stronger background in the chemical sciences but not necessarily pursue a chemical career.

Requirements for the Minor in Chemistry

(24 credits as listed below)

Six courses in Chemistry

All students must either have a passing score on the placement exam or receive a “B-” or better in CH100 before enrolling into CH101 or CH111.

One Chemistry elective at the 300 level

(excluding CH 391  & CH 392 )
