Healthcare Finance Certificate

The Healthcare Finance Certificate from Arcadia’s School of Global Business aims to provide graduate students with a theoretical and pragmatic understanding of aspects of the financial management of healthcare organizations.

Students take courses such as Introduction to Financial Management in Healthcare, Revenue Cycle Management, Risk and Insurance, and Health Systems and Public Policy to gain valuable knowledge and practical skills related to healthcare financial management.


By the end of the certificate program students will:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of healthcare finance and revenue cycle management
  • Describe current key policy and programmatic healthcare payment methodologies,
  • and the impact of evolving value-based models
  • Describe and apply key models (e.g. ACOs, etc.) to optimize healthcare organization
  • and delivery.
  • Apply fundamental finance tools and concepts necessary for effective collaboration
  • with stakeholders
  • Grow into leaders who are committed to Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.


Credits earned in the program can be transferred to Arcadia’s MBA program or one of the
specialized Modular Master’s Program.
