About the Minor
The minor in Corporate Social Responsibility provides undergraduates in any major a foundation in the principles of how organizations can create value for all stakeholders with responsible leaders who are guided by justice and equity. Drawing on theory in Business and Philosophy, students gain an understanding of the role of managers in an organization, what ethical questions are central to society today, and how to interpret issues from a variety of perspectives. Electives in this Minor build on the foundation provided in the four core courses to strengthen a student’s understanding in an area of their choosing. These include Ethics, Politics, Public Policy, Law, Economics, Healthcare, and Environmental Safety.
