About the Minor

The minor in Forensic Investigations provides students who have a major interest in science, criminal justice, psychology, education, or sociology with the opportunity to explore the field of Forensic Investigation for their own satisfaction or application to a career goal.

Requirements

Four core courses

FS 101 Criminalistics (4 credits) and FS101L
FS 102 Criminalistics II (4 credits)
CJ 226 Crime Scene Investigation & Reconstruction (4 credits)
FS 270 Criminal Law and Ethics (4 Credits)

Two elective courses from the following

CJ 205 Wrongful Convictions and Exonerations (4 Credits)
CJ 210 Cold Case Practicum (4 Credits)
CJ 225 Criminal Investigation (4 Credits)
CJ 289 Homicide (4 Credits)
GFS319 CSI UK

These courses must be taken at Arcadia or an approved study abroad course may be substituted.
