ED 222 Instructional Techniques in Early Childhood This course is designed to guide the student in the understanding of developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive practices and their application in inclusive early childhood and early elementary settings. The role of the early childhood educator as a facilitator in the planning, presentation and guidance of integrated early childhood activities is emphasized. Learning through play, family partnerships, cultural and linguistic diversity, and inclusive instructional strategies are highlighted.
