BI 440 Biochemistry

The study of the chemistry of life processes with applications to medicine, forensics, and a variety of other fields. This course will introduce students to the basic concepts in biochemistry as well as the principles governing the structure and function of macromolecules, as well as the metabolism of these molecules in the cell.

Three class hours weekly.

Prerequisite: CH201 or permission of the instructor.
