CM 288 Introduction to Animation

(4 Credits)
This is an introductory course that will provide students the opportunity to learn various animation techniques. Five projects will be assigned that will use Adobe programs such as Photoshop, After Effects, Character Animator, Premiere, and Audition. Traditional camera-based animation using hand-drawn animation, stop motion, rotoscoping, and time-lapse will be used. Students will be expected to put in additional studio time beyond normal class time. Open to all students, including non-majors. No previous experience required.
