EC 322 Healthcare Economics

This course illustrates how economic principles can be used to analyze healthcare issues and explain the behavior of patients, medical care providers, third-party payers, and employers in healthcare markets. The course explores the causes and policy remedies of three important healthcare issues: Medical care spending, medical care access, and medical care outcomes.

Prerequisite: EC 210 , EC 211
