ED 595 Literacy Seminar/Language and Literacy Project (LLP) (6 credits) This is practical experience in a clinical setting under the supervision of a university instructor. It requires conducting an extensive educational assessment of a student with a reading problem and, on the basis of the results, planning and carrying out a program of instruction using a variety of appropriate instructional strategies. All clinical experiences reflect mastery of graduate-level competencies incorporated in the roles of the reading specialist.

Prerequisite: Permission of the Reading Program Coordinator must be obtained before registration.
