PS 340 The Judiciary

This is an examination of the roles of courts and judges, especially Supreme Court justices, in the American political system. It includes the recruitment and socialization of judges, the political framework in which they function, the factors that influence their decisions, and the impact of their decisions on the American political system.

Prerequisite: PS 101 American Politics  strongly recommended.
